MAC's Teacher of the Year

Loni teaches at Mather Elementary School as a 3rd Grade Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) educator in Boston Public Schools. She was nominated to let us all know of her passion for her students and her tireless dedication. She is an active participant of the Champion program at her school where she "enthusiastically shares her work, collaborates with other educators, and shares resources." From germinating seeds in the classroom, planting, making observations, and helping her students understand farm to table connections. She is now engage in starting a committee for an outdoor classroom in her school.

MAC is proud to have selected a teacher that represents great passion for teaching agriculture in the classroom to our young students.
