Massachusetts Agriculture in the Classroom (MAC) and Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) have teamed up to offer the first Agriculture Literacy Month in Massachusetts in October 2024. MDAR is funding 3,680 copies of "Farmer Eva's Green Garden Life" by Jacqueline Briggs Martin to be delivered to students in grades 2-5 throughout the Commonwealth. We are excited to bring this book and associated lessons to your classrooms. If you were not able to be part of this year's program, we encourage you to use this book with your students!
